Yea I have to agree with you here; I can’t even imagine having my 13 year old engaged in any kind of romance, especially an online romance with a 16 year old boy. That does raise a bit of a question of how much responsibility did the parents assume for what happened?

Absolutely the act itself was horrible but the fact that a grown woman would be so heartless is very sad. It really makes me wonder if she is even fit to raise her own child.

I was actually a little bit annoyed that she was only facing that much prison time. She knew what she was doing was wrong and in my eyes should be considered attempted murder. If we can lock up doctors for assisted suicide then I don’t see how this can be considered any less heinous.

Well I agree with how horrible this situation was, death may be a bit extreme! I do however appreciate the outrage and I find myself just as confused as you when it comes to who could possibly do such a thing. Capital punishment usually ends up costing tax payers a lot more in the long run then life in prison.
